Ms. Smith has over 20 years of experience in childcare. She has spent most of those years working with infants and toddlers. She is also a part time nanny for a sweet loving family in her community. She is currently working towards her associates degree in early childhood education and has one more semester to complete. In her spare time she loves helping others, reading, and spending time with her fur baby (cat) CJ.

Mrs. Snickles has been at Long Mill since 2016. She began by serving as the Before and After School Care Site Coordinator. In 2019, she became a Kindergarten Instructional Assistant and Bus driver. This year Mrs. Snickles serves as a 3rd grade Instructional Assistant. She is currently working on her last year at East Carolina University, beginning her student teaching internship, and planning on graduating in Summer 2025 with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Elementary Education with a concentration in Reading. In her free time, she loves spending time at the lake, crafting, or traveling with her family.

Rose Ann Taylor graduated from Wake Technical College with a diploma in Mechanical Drafting, Class of 1984. She worked as an AutoCAD designer for a few different engineering firms for over 25 years. She started volunteering in her daughter’s kindergarten class and was “Hooked”. She loves working with kids so much more than engineers. She started by tutoring 3rd graders part time for 2 years. In 2014 she joined the kindergarten team as an Instructional Assistant and also became a bus driver. In 2018 she moved into this EC class working with students with special needs. As of the 2024-2025 school year she is back in kindergarten and she can't wait to beginning this year.
