Preshus Allen was raised in Louisburg NC. She attended college at North Carolina Central University and graduated spring of 2014. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Consumer Science with a concentration in Child Development and Family Relations. She then became a Day Care teacher from the years 2014 - 2017. From there she became the Before and Aftercare Coordinator for Youngsville Elementary in the winter of 2017 - 2020. Then became a teacher here at Long Mill in the fall of 2020 and has been here ever since. Preshus enjoys spending time with her daughter, traveling, and going to the movies.

Mary Norris earned her B.S. in Elementary Education from East Carolina University. After student teaching in 1st grade at Long Mill, she’s excited to return full-time and bring her passion for hands-on learning and creativity to the classroom. Mrs. Norris loves inspiring young minds and creating a joyful, welcoming space where every student feels encouraged to grow and succeed.

Devin Ward was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. She graduated in May 2019 from East Carolina University with a degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Mathematics. GO PIRATES! She loves to spend her free time with family and friends. Her passion is teaching and shaping the minds of all learners!

Whitney Woods is a native of Franklin County and a 2006 graduate of Franklinton High School. In 2010, she received her degree in Elementary Education from East Carolina University. Upon graduation, she began her teaching career at Long Mill Elementary School, where she taught for ten years. After ten years in Kindergarten, she took a one-year leave of absence. In the fall of 2021, she returned to Long Mill into a first grade teaching position. She is beginning her fifth year in first grade. Her passion is to teach and instill a love of learning in all children. She is honored to be a part of this dynamic learning community.
