Mrs. Pachette Dunn joined Long Mill Elementary as our new principal this year. For the past three years, Mrs. Dunn served as an assistant principal in Durham, N.C. Mrs. Dunn has also been a second and third grade teacher prior to becoming an assistant principal.  

Mrs. Dunn is originally from Manteo, North Carolina. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Masters degree in School Administration from North Carolina State University. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and going to the beach. She lives in Wake Forest with her husband and daughter, Peyton.

Mrs. Dunn is committed to ensuring that all students are provided with a safe, inviting, and engaging learning environment. Mrs. Dunn believes that all students have the ability to be successful. She looks forward to working with students, parents, and staff to continue the educational excellence at Long Mill Elementary!

Hello, my name is Dr. Robert Kradel and I am so happy to be part of the Long Mill family! I am entering my 29th year of education and my 8th here in Franklin County. Prior to joining Long Mill, I spent 3 years as an assistant principal at Bunn Middle and the interim principal at Bunn Elementary.

I am originally from Pennsylvania and that is where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Slippery Rock University. After moving to North Carolina, I earned my Masters in School Administration and my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from North Carolina State University.

I live in Youngsville with my wife Denise Being from Pittsburgh, I am a HUGE fan of the Steelers, Pirates, and Penquins! In my free time my wife and I like to travel to the beach and the mountains. I also try to get out and play some golf every once in a while.
